Community Hospital Corporation Appoints New VP, Quality and Care Management
Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a not-for-profit company committed to helping hospitals remain community-operated and governed, recently announced that Amy Boykin, RN, MSHA, CPHQ has been selected to serve as Vice President, Quality and Care Management (VPQCM). In her new role, Boykin will serve as a critical leader of CHC who will support the Quality and Care Management services at all hospitals CHC manages and the hospitals CHC supports with consulting services.
Boykin is a Certified Professional in both Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM). She has significant experience working in both small and large hospitals as well as large health systems. Prior to accepting the position at CHC, Boykin served as Vice President, Quality/Risk Management/Regulatory Compliance at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio where she was responsible for quality improvement, physician peer review, risk management, accreditation/regulatory compliance and infection prevention for eight acute care hospitals.
