Pacific NW System Names Senior Quality/Physician Executive

MultiCare Health System, a nearly $2 billion regional not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Tacoma, Washington, has selected Maria Granzotti, MD, as its new Senior Vice President of Quality/Integrity/Medical Affairs. This search was managed by FSP Leaders, an affiliate of FaithSearch Partners focusing on executive search for senior leadership in secular (non-faith-based) healthcare systems.

As Senior Vice President, Granzotti will report to the System CEO and serve as the Chief Quality Officer as well as the Chief Medical Officer of the system, establishing strategic direction to improve clinical quality and physician leadership throughout the entire organization.

“Dr. Granzotti is an exceptional and delightful candidate with a solid history of physician leadership,” said Ed Fry, President of FSP Leaders. “With her expertise, she will help drive MultiCare to the next level of excellence in patient care, quality outcomes and patient safety.”

Dr. Granzotti has held physician leadership roles for the last seven years. Most recently she worked as Chief Physician Executive for the Central Illinois Division of Hospital Sisters Health System. She has a medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, completed her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, and has a master’s degree of business administration from University of Massachusetts.
