Susan L. Glover, BSN, MHA, DOL, is a senior consultant with HealthSearch Partners. A healthcare veteran, she has more than 30 years of progressive leadership and management experience including developing systems and processes to improve the delivery of healthcare encompassing service line management, quality and patient safety structure, and development of new servicers. Peer coaching and mentoring and improving governing effectiveness are her specialties.

Prior to joining HealthSearch Partners, Susan served as the Chief Quality Officer for Adventist HealthCare in Gaithersburg, MD, where she established governance and strategies to drive continuous and accountable processes for measuring and improving the quality and appropriateness of patient care services. Her tenure with Adventist Healthcare spans more than 37 years including roles at Washington Adventist Hospital, Shawnee Mission Medical Center, and Adventist HealthCare. Susan is also a nurse with bedside experience in critical care and cardiac care. She has also served as an interim CNO.

Susan has served on the boards of many organizations including the Maryland HealthCare Education Institute, The Adventist HealthCare Community Partnership Fund, Montgomery Hospice, and is a founding member of Champions for Children. She also was chair of the Maryland Patient Safety Center. Currently she serves on the Generation Hope Board. She is a member of the American Society for Quality, American College of Healthcare Executives, HealthCare Compliance Association, National Association for Healthcare Quality, and National Quality Forum.

Susan has a Doctor in Organization Leadership from Hood College, a Master of Health Care Administration degree from University College of the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from George Mason University.

Susan is married to her husband Richard. Together they founded Tour de Force Partners, a consulting firm focused on creating positive change in leaders and their organizations’ performance. Susan and Richard have one daughter, Victoria.
