HealthSearch Partners Assists With Nationwide Associate Chief Medical Officer Search To Bring Jasmeet (Jamie) Dhaliwal, MD To Denver Health
Jasmeet (Jamie) Dhaliwal, MD, MPH, MBA, will join Denver Health as the Associate Chief Medical Officer. HealthSearch Partners assisted with the search and the Denver Health Search Committee that is bringing Dr. Dhaliwal to the health system.
In this new ACMO role, Dr. Dhaliwal will lead the management and oversight of clinical services in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Quality Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He will help enable and expand access to the high-quality clinical services provided by Denver Health to populations that are currently underserved and provide guidance, supervision and leadership to medical and clinical staff.
Established in 1860, Denver Health serves a diverse patient population, including low-income and immigrant populations. Each year, Denver Health sees persons from around the world who speak more than 50 languages, most commonly Spanish. In total, Denver Health cares for 25 percent of all Denver residents. With approximately 7,000 employees, Denver Health is the fourth largest employer in Denver.
Prior to joining Denver Health, Dr. Dhaliwal was Director of Clinical Integration, US Acute Care Solutions for CommonSpirit Mountain Region (Utah, Colorado, Kansas). He has also served as an NFL Emergency Response and Airway Management physician for the Denver Broncos and visiting NFL teams. Dr. Dhaliwal received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Denver Health and served as Chief Resident. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado Denver School of Business, a Master of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.
