Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Oregon, has selected HealthSearch Partners (HSP) to lead a search for a Director of Finance. This Director serves as a critical member of the Finance leadership team and is responsible for the development, oversight, and coordination of services and functions in finance, general accounting, supply chain, internal control, external audits, rolling forecasting, budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, tax filings, and financial reporting.
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a full-service, not-for-profit hospital located where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. It is the fastest growing rural hospital in the state of Oregon and has been serving the healthcare needs of families living in the North Coast and Lower Columbia region since 1880. The Hospital has enjoyed strong, sustained financial success with $200 million annual net revenue and is starting construction on a $300 million expansion by the end of 2024. CMH was one of the first Planetree-certified hospitals in the world. It is a Level IV trauma center, with 750 employees and more than 15 clinics, many of which are part of its CMH-Oregon Health & Science University collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in healthcare finance with demonstrable results. In addition, this Director will be well-prepared academically with a graduate degree in business and/or Certified Public Accountant designation.
