Kettering, OH-based Kettering Health has named HealthSearch Partners based in Dallas, TX, to lead the search for its next Vice President of Revenue Cycle.
The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the collection of approximately $2.6 billion in annual net revenues for Kettering Health’s hospitals, employed physicians and ancillary services. This executive will manage the performance of the revenue cycle function to consistently achieve the performance expectations established by Kettering Health. The Vice President will also provide effective and inspirational leadership to the finance leaders in Revenue Cycle management and establish accountabilities that guide performance.
Kettering Health’s not-for-profit integrated network features healthcare experts including primary care doctors, specialists, and other providers working together to provide wellness-focused, seamless coordinated care. Founded in 1964 as Charles F. Kettering Memorial Hospital by Eugene Kettering and his wife Virginia to honor Charles F. Kettering, Eugen’s father, today the hospital is known as Kettering Medical Center. The hospital is the flagship facility for Kettering Health which includes 13 hospitals, 120 outpatient facilities, 1,800 physicians and more than 14,000 employees.

The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Revenue Cycle position will have an undergraduate degree with a graduate degree preferred. He or she will have relevant certifications and professional status such as CPA, AMPA, or CPAM and will have demonstrated strong operational results in a large, complex healthcare system and/or academic medical center, including a large Central Business Office with at least $1 billion of collectible revenue. The ideal candidate will also have five to seven years of experience in revenue cycle senior leadership, experience with the Epic information technology system, possess strong system-thinking skills oriented to continuous process and workflow improvement, and be able to cast a vision for the future that will inspire the Revenue Cycle team and Finance Department team to continue to move forward together.
