Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital Selects HealthSearch Partners To Spearhead Search For Associate Vice President of Finance
Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) has retained HealthSearch Partners to lead the search for an Associate Vice President of Finance for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH). This executive is the lead Finance Executive for the Children’s Hospital.
LLUCH is one of the premier pediatric academic medical centers in California and serves as the pediatric teaching hospital for Loma Linda University School of Medicine. As part of LLUH, the Children’s Hospital provides highly specialized pediatric care across Southern California and the western United States.

The Children’s Hospital is consistently recognized for excellence in neonatal care, pediatric cardiology and heart transplantation, pediatric intensive care, behavioral health, cancer services, and complex surgical care.
The Associate Vice President of Finance serves as the senior Finance Executive for LLUCH and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance – Hospital Operations and indirectly to the Administrator/Senior Vice President of LLUCH. As a member of the Children’s Hospital executive leadership team, this executive functions as the primary finance partner to the Administrator and senior leadership team.
While serving as the senior finance leader for the Children’s Hospital, the role operates within a highly integrated and matrixed academic health system structure. Accounting, revenue cycle, treasury, internal audit, and financial planning functions are managed centrally across LLUH, requiring the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead effectively within a tightly coordinated system finance environment.
The Associate Vice President plays a significant role in supporting pediatric physician enterprise strategy, outpatient growth initiatives, capital planning, and philanthropic stewardship activities associated with the Children’s Hospital Foundation. The role partners closely with physician leadership and operational executives to evaluate business opportunities, develop financial models and pro formas, support strategic growth initiatives, and ensure disciplined financial oversight across a rapidly evolving pediatric enterprise.
