HealthSearch Partners Launches Search For CEO of Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert, Idaho

Minidoka Memorial Hospital, a 22-bed critical access hospital in Rupert, ID, has retained HealthSearch Partners to help it find its next Chief Executive Officer. Owned by the Minidoka County Hospital Board, the facility serves as a vital healthcare resource for the community, the county, and surrounding communities in southern Idaho and the Magic Valley.

The hospital is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees that maintains fiduciary responsibility for the organization and works closely with hospital leadership to ensure financial stewardship, quality of care, physician recruitment, and continued access to healthcare services throughout the area.

In addition to emergency and surgical services, the hospital provides diagnostic imaging, swing bed and rehabilitation services, long-term care and home health services. The hospital also supports rural health services, ambulance services, and specialty physician outreach clinics.

The CEO serves as the organization’s senior executive leader, reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, and provides strategic, operational, financial, and cultural leadership for one of Idaho’s largest critical access hospitals. The CEO is responsible for ensuring the organization’s long-term viability while advancing its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to the residents of Minidoka County and the Magic Valley region.

The CEO works closely with physicians, staff, board members, community leaders, and regional partners to strengthen the hospital’s position as a trusted healthcare provider and valued community asset.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field is preferred. An advanced degree including a doctoral degree is considered a plus. An Idaho Nursing Home Administrator license is preferred, or the ability and willingness to obtain the licensure if appropriate. The selected candidate will have demonstrated success as a CEO, President, or comparable senior executive in a Critical Access Hospital is required. Additional executive leadership experience in rural hospitals, community hospitals, or larger health systems is preferred.
