As much as we would like to, no one can truly predict the future; however, we can prepare for it. In our personal lives, we can do financial planning, we can prepare our will, and we can have routine health check-ups.
During this abnormal time in which we find ourselves, it might be helpful to consider an expression attributed to the poet, William Blake. He is quoted to have said “In the universe, there are things that are known, and things that are unknown, and in between, there are doors.” It seems to me that we are presently on the threshold of a door, waiting to step into an unknown space.
